Joe Maxi Taxis's model is structurally different from Uber and Bolt. Rather than taking 25–30% of every fare, Joe Maxi Taxis takes 15% — and there are no monthly fees on top. Drivers keep 85% of every completed hire, paid directly to their bank account. Passengers get fixed-rate fares with no surge pricing.
Every driver on Joe Maxi Taxis is council-licensed, DVLA-verified, and DBS-checked before they can accept any bookings. Joe Maxi Taxis does not accept unlicensed or unverified drivers — a deliberate decision to prioritise passenger safety over driver supply volume.
